Brazil ranked 1st and Chile 2nd in the GRESB ranking of power transmission companies in their respective countries.
In 2020, Celeo has met the objective of improving the GRESB results of Brazil and Chile compared to 2019. For the third consecutive year, Brazil and Chile have participated in this ranking to progress in their sustainability management and advance in the search for ESG best practices.
GRESB is an organization dedicated to assessing and comparing the performance of portfolios of real estate and infrastructure funds and assets worldwide in environmental, social and governance aspects. As a new feature, this year GRESB has incorporated the Resilience module, which will be mandatory in 2021. Along these lines, Chile and Brazil have made a great effort to systematize and integrate the new requirements.
The results of Brazil and Chile in 2020 have been exceptional. On the one hand, Celeo Redes Brasil obtained 99 points, reaching second place in the world ranking of companies evaluated and first place in the power transmission companies section. On the other hand, Celeo Redes Chile S.L. is positioned as the eleventh company worldwide and the second in the section of energy transmission companies. These results consolidate the leadership and maturity of Celeo’s ESG management and are the result of the hard work and engagement of all employees of Celeo.
