This project starts at the Nueva Nirivilo substation, which belongs to Mataquito Transmisora de Energía (MATE), along a line to the existing Constitución substation, through a 66 kV double-circuit line. The main purpose of this project is to increase electricity transmission capacity in the national transmission system in order to enable the transmission of renewable energy.
